KØEMT is Bryan, a Database/Application/Web Developer, a Fire Fighter and Emergency Medical Technician, an Amateur Radio Operator, an antenna experimenter, Life Member of the NRA and Christian.
I have been a ham for several years and really enjoy the antenna building aspect of the hobby. I have a variety of interests including emergency operations, NVIS, portable/mobile operation and computer control/programming.
You can check out my web site for a variety of projects and special event stations in which I have been involved. Numerous antenna designs, Earthday special event station, TS-570S and FT-817 tips, VB/VBA QRZ class and Java interface to dxworld.com to name a couple.
Please feel free to drop me a line if you have any questions about the projects on this web site or the web site itself.
The antenna situation can vary as I really like antenna experimenting.
I am good in the QRZ directory and in the ARRL bureau.
I will expedite when I receive an SASE QSL.
Other QSL's will be sent out on a as time permits basis.
Unfortunately, Right now, I am behind on these.
I don't like most of the tools that are available for web-site construction. Therefore, the majority of this site has been built with EMACS, writing directly in HTML. Although lately, I have been given Mozilla's composer a whirl and it only mildly annoys me at times! :)
Micrografx Draw and Paint Shop Pro were used to create the website graphics.
I do automate some of the index building and links tables with an Access database. The information is kept up to date in the database and I have VBA code to generate static HTML.
