Business Projects

• I am currently developing solutions with Java, Python, MongoDB, RabbitMQ and have worked on projects with C#, VB.Net, NUnit and SQL Server

• Team lead for an application that gathers tax information from all casinos in Missouri. The public side uses an ASP.Net application while the internal side uses a rich WinForms application. Both are backended in a SQL database.

• Developed a system to internally track funds, generate statistical information and make projections for future fiscal funding. This system uses a VB front end and a secured Access 97 back end. OLE automation is utilized for reporting.

• A Data Mart/Data Warehouse type application used to track claim status and benefits provided. This system uses a VB front end and a secured Access 97 back end.

• A utility to back up client data of a third party application to removeable media or a network server. It is designed to be very similar to the utility for the system mentioned below as it is deployed to the same user base. Compression is implemented via the DynaZIP AX library. Microsoft Common Controls & Dialogs were utilized. User settings are saved in the registry. This utility was written in Visual Basic.

• A system used to manage Cost Share (including SALT) project applications, amendments and claims. The system is deployed to 110+ client supported sites. This is a large scale Access 97/VBA system w/WIN32 API calls.

  An accompanying utility is written in Visual Basic. It is the job of this utility to launch the application, backup and restore the data file, update to a newer version of the front end, compact and repair both the front end and the data file.

• In production is a system that tracks Weatherization funds for a client. When I last talked with the client contact she indicated that DOE was reviewing the system for possible use at other sites. This is an Access 97/VBA system.

• In production is a co-authored system written in Access 97/VBA for a client to track SuperFund projects.

• Other projects have included; file format conversion, user interface development, scientific computing and website devleopment. These and other projects were created with Visual Basic, VBA, Access, C, C++, Java, HTML, Javascript, FORTRAN, Pascal, Modula-2, Perl, x86 Assembly and sh.

• QRZ CD Interface - written in both VB and Access VBA

• Keeping my skills sharp with my Linux machines

• A Windows Access/VBA program for logging & QSL Card Generation

• An XML based specification for Amateur Radio Data Interchange, xARDI.

• Numerous other projects in various stages of development.

• Other projects have included; graphics interpreter and real-time three-dimensional rotation of wire-frame graphics.

There just is not enough time in the day for all the ideas running through my head.
